This series of kilns are spodumene acidification roasting rotary kilns developed and manufactured by Henan Global Heavy Industry, with excellent energy-saving performance. The kiln temperature is evenly controlled, can operate stably for a long time, and has a low failure rate, long life, stability and reliability. It is very suitable for the sulphation roasting treatment of spodumene powder materials.
During the acidification roasting process, the rotary drum has a certain inclination, so that the material moves continuously from the feed end to the discharge end in the kiln. These kilns are usually operated continuously and fully automatically without the need for additional conveying equipment, thereby achieving higher energy-saving effects. The acidification roasting process has an important mechanical effect on the material, so the rotary kiln needs to be specially designed for different materials. In the design and engineering process of pyrolysis equipment, the material characterization parameters such as flow characteristics, fluidity, bulk density, water content and process temperature must be considered. According to the characteristics of different materials, the inclination of the rotary drum, the rotation speed and the additional components on the drum need to be designed accordingly.
In the acidification kiln, the precisely measured spodumene roasting material is fully mixed with concentrated sulfuric acid in the acid mixer. The mixed material is fed into the kiln through the feed screw conveyor of the acidification kiln, and introduced into the heating section through the material guide screw, and tumbles under the condition of slight negative pressure for heating reaction.
The acidification kiln is heated by 12 sets of burners, and the heat is evenly transferred to the rotating cylinder, so that the cylinder transfers heat energy to the material to achieve the roasting of the material. The temperature control is divided into 6 areas, each area is equipped with 2 burners, and the temperature of each area can be controlled separately to achieve temperature rise control in different sections and ensure that the stable temperature lasts for a certain period of time to meet the reaction requirements. The gas (white mist) generated during the reaction is collected by the feed sealing cover, discharged uniformly through the air guide pipe and sent to the desulfurization system.
The flue gas after natural gas combustion is collected through the discharge port, and the heat is recovered through the heat exchange device. The waste heat is sent to the burner through the combustion-supporting fan to make full use of energy.
The acid clinker generated by the reaction is sent to the cooler through the kiln tail discharge box for cooling. After cooling to 80-60℃, it is sent to the next process via a conveyor.
Product Performance
1. The design of the spodumene rotary kiln cylinder fully considers the rotation angle of the cylinder deflection support to extend the life of refractory bricks and castings; 2. The spodumene rotary kiln adopts large-diameter and small-aspect ratio support wheel bearings to improve reliability, and the bearings are self-aligning bearings; 3. The spodumene rotary kiln belongs to the new open gear cover sealing form with good sealing effect; 4. The spring sheet stacking flexible seal and the double-layer spring sheet seal increase the insulation layer design, which helps to improve the reliability and service life of the lithium carbonate rotary kiln.Working Principle
The lithium mica raw material enters the cylinder for calcination at high temperature. During this process, the kiln body slowly and steadily reverses, causing the lithium carbonate to roll in the circumferential direction and move from the high end to the low end in the axial direction. The raw material undergoes decomposition, sintering and cooling processes to become clinker, which is discharged from the low end of the kiln cylinder and enters the cooler. The fuel is sprayed in through the kiln head and burned in the kiln. The heat released heats the raw material and calcines it into clinker. The hot air formed in the process of heat exchange with the material enters the kiln tail system from the kiln feed end and is finally discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.
