Under the action of large impact load or contact stress, the surface layer of high manganese steel rapidly undergoes work hardening, and high-density dislocations and deformation twins are generated one after another, resulting in a highly wear-resistant surface layer. At this time, the inner layer is The steel still maintains good toughness.

Working Principle

High manganese steel lining plate contains 10% to 15% manganese, and the carbon content is generally 0.90% to 1.50%, most of which are above 1.0%. Its chemical composition is (%): C 0.90~1.50, Mn 10.0~15.0, Si 0.30~1.0, S ≤0.05, P ≤0.10. Its characteristics include fine grain structure, high hardness and toughness, and significantly improved wear resistance. Under fixed abrasive wear conditions, its wear resistance is more than 1.25 times that of traditional Mn13. Under impact abrasive wear conditions with an impact energy of 2.0J Its impact resistance to abrasive wear is 1.4 times that of traditional high manganese steel.
