Working Principle
The main working part of the ball mill is a rotating cylinder mounted on two large bearings and placed horizontally. The cylinder is divided into several chambers with partition plates, and each chamber is equipped with a grinding body of a certain shape and size. The grinding bodies are generally steel balls, steel forges, steel rods, pebbles, gravels and porcelain balls. In order to prevent the cylinder from being worn, a lining plate is installed on the inner wall of the cylinder.
When the ball mill rotates, the grinding body adheres to the lining surface of the inner wall of the cylinder under the action of centrifugal force and friction with the lining surface of the inner wall of the cylinder, rotates with the cylinder, and is carried along When it reaches a certain height, it falls freely under the action of gravity. When it falls, the grinding body acts like a projectile, impacting the material at the bottom and crushing the material. The cyclic movement of the grinding body rising and falling is repeated. Since the feed end is constantly feeding new materials, there is a material surface difference between the feed and discharge end materials, which can force the material to flow.
