Universal Heavy Industries designed this production line specifically based on the characteristics of the rotary kiln. The designed calcining furnace is mainly composed of a gas heater, a gas-solid mixer, a calcining furnace body, and a gas-solid separation collector. The pre-calcined material is sent into the furnace by the gas-solid mixer and mixed with the air heated by the heater to move in a cyclonic state. After the calcination process is completed in an instant, it enters the gas-solid separator from the calcining furnace outlet. The separated solids and gases are discharged from the discharge port and exhaust port respectively.

Usually, an induced draft device is used to keep the system at a slight negative pressure, and a heat source is obtained directly or indirectly. The calcined tail gas is purified and the product is recovered by cyclone separation, air cooling, bag or water washing.
[Calcination and drying system combined configuration]
In order to effectively utilize tail gas and save energy, the heat of calcination tail gas is used to heat the drying device. While preheating and dehydrating the pre-calcined materials, the temperature of the tail gas is reduced during discharge, effectively utilizing energy.

The cylinder volume is designed to be relatively large, and the various technical parameters are designed to be very reasonable, which effectively increases the capacity of zinc oxide materials, thereby improving the output and calcination efficiency of the equipment. In order to prevent dust and noise pollution, the equipment has taken multiple protective measures, such as setting up a unique and advanced sealing system at the end of the kiln, installing dust prevention devices and silencers, which greatly reduces the emission of dust and noise, and improves the processing and production environment of zinc oxide.
The process flow chart for producing zinc oxide mainly consists of: batching system, feeding system, rotary kiln system, slag water quenching system, oxidation cooling system, dust collection and bagging system, and flue gas desulfurization system.
1. The main purpose of the batching system is to mix zinc-containing waste or zinc ore powder with coke powder in proportion and mix them evenly. The system consists of a multi-bin weighing batching machine (optional), a belt conveyor and a mixer;
2. The purpose of the feeding system is to feed the mixed mixture into the silo at the end of the kiln. It consists of a conveyor (belt conveyor or bucket elevator), a silo and a feeder;
3. The zinc oxide rotary kiln production line system is the core equipment of the production line, mainly consisting of a cylinder, a refractory lining, a transmission mechanism, a support mechanism, a kiln head cover, a kiln tail guide mechanism, a fan, and a heat source generation mechanism;
4. The main purpose of the slag water quenching system is to pass the high-temperature waste slag after the high-temperature calcined zinc evaporates through The system is quenched by water, and is mainly composed of a cold water pool, a slag remover, a water pump, and a circulating water pool;
5. The main purpose of the oxidation cooling system is to fully oxidize the high-temperature zinc vapor to generate zinc oxide and reduce the airflow to a suitable temperature. The system is composed of a herringbone pipe, a pipeline, a wind valve, and a collection box;
6. The main purpose of the dust collection and bagging system is to separate the generated zinc oxide product from the airflow and collect it in bags. The system is composed of a pipeline, a pulse dust collector, an air compressor, a fan, a discharge valve, and a weighing and packaging mechanism;
7. The purpose of the flue gas desulfurization system is to remove the sulfur dioxide generated during the calcination process to achieve standard emissions; the system is mainly composed of a desulfurization tower, a reaction tank, a renewal tank, an aerator, a plate and frame filter press, a corrosion-resistant pump, and a fan.
